Good Friday! I don't expect us to diverge much from our current course of hot and humid weather with little in the way of rain.
Today will reach 94 with a heat index close to 100. A passing shower or two is possible, but most of us will stay rain free.
High pressure east of the area will continue to bring in warm moist air from the south this weekend. The high will also block any rain making weather systems from moving in also. Saturday we will climb to 95. Sunday 92 will be the high. the average high for this time of year is 89. It will be a while before we see that. Rain chances this weekend stay small, only 20%.
Next week looks to be the same. Temps will be in the low to mid 90s, the air will be muggy, and the chance for rain is small. Through Tuesday, with all of the stray showers in the forecast combined, the most rain we can hope for is about a quarter to half an inch in total.
