A Wildwood man is facing a list of charges after allegedly attempting to break into homes and making threats against police officers.

Chattanooga Police arrested 22 year-old Dustin Sexton on Sunday after being called to Bass Road on reports of a man attempting to break into homes in the area.

When officers arrived on scene they found Sexton, who then took off, jumped a fence and entered a home.

A K9 unit was dispatched and Sexton was located in the attic of a home.

According to court documents, Sexton used racial slurs against one of the arresting officers and threatened to kill officers and their families.

Sexton was charged with aggravated burglary, resisting arrest, retaliation against an officer and aggravated assault. He’s being held at the Hamilton County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
