In the first high school football game of the season, both the Bradley Central Bears and the Walker Valley Mustangs came out firing Thursday night for their favorite county rivalry game.

After two back-and-forth first quarters, Bears led 28-14 at halftime. Mustangs made some key plays towards the end of the game, but the Bears were tough to stop on offense as Bradley Central went on to win it, 40-28 against Walker Valley.
