Correll and Kokoszka Win the 2016 Island Cove Outdoor Center C.B.A. August Bass Tournament

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - The team of Anthony Correll and Logan Kokaszka caught a nice 5 bass limit weighing 22.02 pounds, edging out a field of 108 anglers to win first place and $2,000.00 in the Island Cove Outdoor Center Chattanooga Bass Association August day Tournament. This tournament was held Saturday, August 13th out of Chester Frost Boat Ramp. 

The team of Brent Barnes and Rob Barnes had big bass of this event weighing 6.54 pounds receiving 100 dollars and 2 nice Duckett rods. Spencer Smith and Steve Barnes had second big bass with a 5.95 lb. largemouth receiving 100 dollars.

A.J. Barnes and Gavin Ainslie won the highest finishing youth team prize of $25 dollars.

Shane Frazier said “Special thanks to Island Cove Outdoor Center for their sponsorship of this event”. 

All fish caught in this event were released back into Lake Chickamauga.

6.    Jeff Knight and Michael Knight, 18.43 lbs., $300.00 
7.    Jamie Copenhaver and Adam Dysart, 17.67 lbs., $250.00 
8.    Jamie Hatcher and Rick Camp, 17.23 lbs., $200.00 
9.    Brent Barnes and Garrett Barnes, 16.97lbs., $150.00 
10.    Shane Frazier and Dallas George 16.87lbs., $150.00
