As "The Final Five" go for the gold in the 2016 Rio Olympics, a 10-year-old gymnast in Memphis prepares for her future as a possible Olympian.

It may look difficult, but to Olivia Ahern, gymnastics is already a piece of cake.

"It makes me feel free, like I can do anything I put my mind to," said Olivia, who has been invited to train at the Olympic Training Center on the Karolyi Ranch. River City said she is the first Tennessee gymnast to be chosen for the honor.

"I was so excited and nervous, because I wanted to impress them and I didn't want to disappoint them, but I know that if I try my best, I know I'll never disappoint anyone," Olivia said.

The Ranch, as the facility is called, is the official training site for the U.S. Olympic and National teams. It's located outside of Houston, Texas.

Ahern and her coaches will go to the Ranch in September to train with the National Staff as part of the program that helps develop the Olympic Team.

Olivia loves watching her idols compete on the world stage as she dreams of making the Olympic team one day.

"Just to win a gold medal at anything in the Olympics," Olivia said.

Keep your eye out for Olivia. She could be the next big star on the international stage -- from right here in Memphis.
