CLEVELAND, TN (WRCB) -

UPDATE: Cleveland police have arrested a suspect who is accused of exposing himself to at least one woman in Cleveland today.

It happened shortly after 1:00pm at the Cleveland Greenway.

Police spokeswoman Evie West says a 911 call was made alerting police to a white man on a bicycle who allegedly exposed himself.

West says 26-six-year-old James Miles Eady jumped on his bike and ran from responding officers who found him standing in the area.

Officers eventually found Eady at 25th Street and Harris Circle.

He was placed in police custody and will be charged with Attempted sexual battery and Indecent Exposure.

The woman ran away, found someone else and borrowed their cell phone to call police.

According to a police report, a couple of officers had seen the man standing by a black bicycle near the Kingsway Press area before the incident. They immediately returned to the area, but the man was gone.
