A Chattanooga man is wanted by the Dalton Police Department in connection to a July burglary that occurred at a hotel.
Langston H Spence, 67, was currently out on bond for another burglary when a victim at the Days Inn located at 1518 West Walnut Avenue, reported that his door of his room was slightly left open while checking out of the room. Upon returning, he found that his wallet containing cash, credit cards, and other identifying information was missing.

When Spence reached the victim's door, it opened and he went inside. After viewing the video, a detective recognized Spence. The detective recently charged Spence on July 1st in connection with an April 2016 theft of a woman's purse from Hamilton Medical Center.
Spence was released on an or bond in connection with that case due to a medical issue. Detective Tucker obtained a warrant for Spence’s arrest on the new burglary charge on August 1st.
Langston Hughley Spence is a black male, standing approximately 5’7” tall and weighing approximately 190 pounds. A picture of Spence is included with this release.
