Police execute search warrant in Roswell teen murders
According to the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office, both teens died from a single gunshot wound of the head.
ROSWELL, GA. - Roswell Police are executing a search warrant at an East Cobb house in relation to the double murder of two teens found behind a Publix store on Monday.
A police spokesperson told 11Alive's Valerie Hoff the warrant is issued for a home off Gilhams Road off Mabry Road.
Just before 11 a.m., 11Alive SkyTracker footage showed authorities walking into a ranch-style house and speaking with a young man.
The bodies of Natalie Henderson, 17, and Carter Davis, 17, were discovered by a delivery driver around 6 a.m. at the store on Woodstock Road. According to the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office, the teens died from a single gunshot wound of the head.
The case is being investigated as a double homicide.
Both were high school students and set to go back to school in the coming days. Henderson attended Roswell High School and Davis was a student at River Ridge High School.
Friends and classmates are now trying to raise funds for Davis to cover his family's funeral arrangements.
Roswell Police Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators along with help from Sandy Springs Police Crime Scene Investigators and GBI have been working to locate witnesses and other evidence. Any people in the area, especially between 2 to 3 a.m., who may have seen anything are asked to contact police.
