GADSDEN, AL (AP) - Authorities say an inmate has died at the Etowah County Detention Center.
Etowah County sheriff's officials said in a statement that the death of 60-year-old Eva Goggins Lindsey of Gadsden on Sunday night appears to have been due to natural causes. An autopsy is planned.
Authorities say Lindsey was being held at the facility without bond on a charge of capital murder of an infant.
