With the naming of Jay Williams as the school's new basketball coach, Ooltewah High School hopes to move forward from the 2015 sexual assault.
The school's basketball season came crashing down after allegations of a sexual assault among basketball teammates that sent one student to the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
The case is still winding its way through the courts.
Williams comes to Ooltewah after coaching at LaFayette and Northwest Whitfield high schools years ago.
His new assistant coach, Theanthony Haymon has lived in Chattanooga for several years and has been active in youth sports.
