Good Tuesday. One more day of the intense heat and humidity, then we will start to see a cool down as we head into the latter part of the week.
Today we will get to 97 with the heat index between 100 and 105. More spotty storms will pop up this afternoon.
Wednesday we will start with a muggy batch of air in the mid-70s. We will get to 92 with isolated storms late in the day.
Thursday and Friday will be even cool as the high doesn't even get out of the 80s: 87 on Thursday and 89 Friday. Over the weekend we will rebound a little, but temps will still be more comfortable than of late as it climbs into the low 90s both Saturday and Sunday.
Some drought relief will come with the scattered storms through the rest of the week. We will get about an inch of rain between now and Friday night.
