Good Monday. We start the week with pretty typical July weather in the Tennessee Valley. Today and Tuesday we will have highs near 90 with a little humidity in the air. A low to our east will stir things up enough to produce some widely scattered thunderstorms both this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon. The storms will be very spotty, and there is a very slight chance for one or two storms becoming severe producing damaging wind and small hail.
Wednesday through Friday that low will move out, and we will not see much, if any, rain. We will warm, though, with the temp climbing to the mid 90s for the second half of the week.
Another front will move in late Friday. That looks like it may bring some widespread storms Friday night and they will linger through Saturday. We may even see a few lingering into Sunday afternoon. Highs over the weekend will remain in the low to mid 90s.
