Copeland and Hargis Win the 2016 G&S Collision Center C.B.A. July Day Bass Tournament

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - The team of Bobby Copeland and Lynn Hargis caught a 5 bass limit weighing 25.40 pounds edging out a field of 114 anglers to win first place and $2,000.00 in the G&S Collision Center July day C.B.A. Bass Tournament. This tournament was held Saturday, July 9th out of Chester Frost Boat Ramp.

Bobby said “We got a good limit by 8 a.m. and didn’t catch any betters until 2p.m. when we flipped out a nice 8 pounder’’.

The team of Barron Adams and Trevor Prince had big bass of this event weighing a whopping 9.51 pounds receiving 100 dollars and 2 nice Duckett rods. Danny Daniels had second big bass with a 9.23 lb. largemouth receiving 100 dollars.

A.J. Barnes won the highest finishing youth team prize of $25 dollars.

Shane Frazier said “Special thanks to G&S Collision Center for their sponsorship of this event”.

There 14 teams that weighted 20 pounds or better this event.

All fish caught in this event were released back into Lake Chickamauga.

3rd - Nick Pratt and Chris Coffey 24.53 lbs., $650.00
4th - Steve Barnes and Spencer Smith, 22.90 lbs., $550.00
5th - Tom Kizzah jr. and Tom Kizzah Sr., 22.88 lbs., $450.00
6th - Seth Davis and Brent Butler, 22.58 lbs., $350.00
7th - Baron Adams and Trevor Prince, 22.00 lbs., $300.00
8th - Greg Lamb and David Powell, 21.99 lbs., $250.00
9th - David Hix and Brent Hayes, 21.97 lbs., $200.00
10th - Mike Looney and Chris Grant, 21.96lbs., $200.00
11th - Carter Day and Wes Hardin., 21.96 lbs., $150.00

The next C.B.A. NIGHT tournament will be sponsored by Truck and Trailer and U.S.A. and will be held July 23rd, 2016 out of Chester Frost Park.
