UPDATE: Driver extricated from overturned truck on U.S. 27 entrance ramp
The entrance ramp to Highway 27 Southbound has been blocked until the truck is moved.
UPDATE: One lane of the U.S. 27 southbound entrance ramp has been re-opened to traffic after Wednesday's crash.
The driver of an overturned truck was extricated from the truck's cab after the semi flipped over on the entrance ramp top U.S. 27 Wednesday morning.
The cab of the truck rolled over on the driver side against the guard rail which required first responders from both the Chattanooga Fire Department and the Red Bank Fire Department.
The driver was transported to a local by Hamilton County EMS for examination and treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The entrance ramp to Highway 27 Southbound has been blocked until the truck is moved. TDOT expects to have the ramp cleared by 12:00pm.
Motorists should expect delays and seek alternate routes if possible.
