UPDATE: Chattanooga police have made an arrest in a 4th Avenue shooting that led to man suffer from multiple gunshot wounds, his injuries are non-life threatening.
CPD arrested D'Marquis Bell, 20, shortly after the shooting on 4th Avenue occurred. CPD says Bell was originally booked on the Aggravated Criminal Trespass charges while Chattanooga Police Violent Crimes Bureau Investigators conducted the investigation of the facts surrounding the shooting.
Bell has also been charged with Attempted 1st Degree Murder, Aggravated Assault, Felony Reckless Endangerment, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm during the commission of a Felony.
PREVIOUS STORY: A shooting victim arrived at a local hospital tonight after a shots fired call was made in East Lake.
The call came in from the 2600 block of 4th Avenue shortly before 7:00 p.m.
Police say no victim was found in the area, but one later showed up to a local hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police say 19-year-old JaMarcus Davis was riding in a car as a passenger when someone in another car pulled up and opened fire.
Davis was taken by the driver to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say, "No reportable suspect information is available at this time."
