(WRCB) -- Hundreds of marijuana plants were found in Grundy County as part of an ongoing program between the Sheriff's Office and the state cannabis eradication program called ERAD.

ERAD pilots found over 700 plants from two areas.

The Sheriff says more than a hundred of the plants were found in the West Pickett Lake and Dogtown Road area.

Some of those plants are pictured with this story.

Agents later found about 600 small plants in the woods near the Deer Run area.
