UPDATE: Lockdown lifted at Hamilton County Jail
Officials say cost of phone calls and jail items started the incident.
The Hamilton County Jail was put on lockdown Wednesday afternoon for a currently undisclosed issue.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Tactical Team is at the jail. Sheriff Jim Hammond says about the the lockdown. "When we gave the word go we had everyone staged and in position, SWAT then moved in with the dogs to get compliance and then to extract the inmates from those cell blocks, strip search, hold them in a neutral cell while we removed everything from their cells."
