“She never get in trouble, the family loved her,” said Darwaynia Dunson.

Darwaynia Dunson is Ashley's cousin.

She says Ashley had a smile that would light up a room.

“I mean if you would see her smile, she was beautiful, beautiful, picture perfect,” said Dunson.

The young soldier served in the Tennessee National Guard.

Dunson says when she got the call saying something happened to Ashley, she thought it was in the line of duty.

“I was thinking something happened to her while she was serving her country and doing active duty. I wasn't expecting it to be here in Chattanooga,” said Dunson.

Dunson says what she is going to miss most is Ashley’s smile.

“I’m scrolling through Facebook and I’m seeing all these pictures of everybody, that beautiful smile is the only thing keeping me together,” said Dunson.
