A Hamilton County family is displaced after a house fire on Saturday. Firefighters were called to a home at 4643 Parker Loop Road, according to Amy Maxwell, a spokeswoman with Hamilton County Emergency Services.

The Highway 58 Volunteer Department was called and when they arrived on scene, they saw flames shooting through the roof and throughout the house. Maxwell said the home is a total loss and valued at $90,000.

Investigators had to conduct a "defensive attack" to contain the fire. The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is investigating the cause of the fire. It's not clear what sparked it.

No one was hurt in the incident.
