UPDATE: DALLAS (NBC) - One person has been taken to a hospital after reports of a shooting at Dallas Love Field Friday afternoon.
Video from a witness shows a chaotic scene as people scream and scramble for cover near the baggage claim area as nine apparent gunshots are heard in the background.
The video also shows an officer holding a gun on an individual, telling that person to stay down and get back.
The incident started a domestic disturbance outside baggage claim between a woman and the father of her children, according to Randall Blakenbaker, Asst. Police Chief of the Dallas Police Department's Special Investigation Unit.
Police say the man threw rocks at the woman's vehicle, smashing some of its windows. When officers tried to intervene, they say the man lunged at them. That's when one of the officers fired at the man, striking him four times, according to Blakenbaker.
That man was transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas in an unknown condition, according to Dallas Fire-Rescue officials.
Flights into and out of Love Field have not been affected, however all passengers are being re-screened before boarding any palnes. Flights at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport are also not impacted, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
The Transportation Security Administration confirms to NBC 5 that they are "aware of the incident," but that "this is a local law enforcement matter."
