CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -

UPDATE: A Chattanooga police officer observed a white Dodge Charger which was suspected to have been involved in multiple shots fired and shooting calls, during routine patrol. Chattanooga Police tells Channel 3 that it happened just after 6 a.m. Wednesday near Bonny Oaks Drive.

The officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, but the suspect failed to stop. Instead, the suspect fled at a high rate of speed, lost control of the vehicle and crashed down a steep embankment.

Police said the occupants of the vehicle ran into the wood and officers immediately contained the area in which the suspects were hiding. One suspect was located and arrested without incident. Another suspect was located and apprehended by a CPD officer and his K9 Duco. Two additional suspects were located and apprehended nearby the scene of the wreck.

A further investigation revealed that the white Dodge Charger was stolen. Including, three guns were seized from the vehicle.

CPD arrested Anthony Jackson,26, on charges of Possession of Cocaine for Resale (warrant), Cadarrius Sales, 22, on charges of evading arrest and two juveniles for evading arrest. One of the juveniles could face additional charges.

Officer Mark Frazer with the Chattanooga Police Department said they believe this could be gang related

"We proceed with the investigation under the assumption that this is probably gang associated," Frazer said.
