Good Tuesday. We have some dense fog stretching from north Georgia through the Blue Ridge Mtns. this morning. Patchy areas of fog could develop elsewhere through the morning. We will have warm and humid weather for most of the day. Highs will climb to 89 degrees. Winds will be on the increase, however, blowing from the northwest at 10-20 mph. Those winds will bring in some cooler and drier air for Wednesday.
Wednesday will start with a pleasant low of 59. Skies will be clear, and the humidity will be low through the day. We will also remain a bit cooler with temps only reaching 83 in the afternoon.
Thursday will be nice, but warmer as the high reaches 88. Skies will remain sunny.
Friday into the weekend the temperature will start to get a little out of control. The average high this time of year is 87 degrees. Friday we will reach 93. Skies will be sunny, but the humidity will be climbing once again. The weekend just looks muggy. Highs will be in the mid-90s and the heat index will be close to 100 degrees.
No rain is in the forecast until next week.
