Multiple rescue agencies were called to a rescue in Soddy Daisy this afternoon for injured teenager.
It's happened around 3:50 p.m. at Pocket Wilderness.
Hamilton County EMS spokeswoman Amy Maxwell says a 16-year-old hurt his knee jumping into a swimming hole.
Maxwell says the teen's friends were helping get out of the woods when Hamilton County deputies arrived.
Deputies helped his friends and the teen was eventually taken to a local hospital.
Because of the heat and humidity, Maxwell says extra manpower was called in to help with the rescue.
She says Mowbray VFD, Soddy Daisy Fire Department, Walden's Ridge Emergency Services, Sequoyah VFD and Dallas Bay VFD were called to the scene.
