Chattanooga fire investigators believe a morning fire at a duplex in Shawnee Hills may have been intentionally set.

Firefighters were called to the fire on Kemp Drive around 9:40 a.m. Two additional fire departments were called in for help. 

Fire officials say a man was in the process of moving into the duplex.

The fire damaged a couple of rooms. The cost of damages is estimated to be around $50,000.

The other side of the duplex sustained smoke and water damage.

No one was hurt.

Fire officials have ruled the fire suspicious and the investigation is ongoing.
