The English Premier League club Middlesbrough FC is in town this week to have its u21 players face Chattanooga FC at Finley Stadium in an international friendly.

The game will mark the first time that a premier league club's development squad has played the Chattanooga FC.

Middlesbrough's first team just won promotion to the Premier League which is considered one of the world's best leagues, after a seven-year absence, according to a news release.

"This really is a thrill" said Sean McDaniel, General Manager for Chattanooga FC. "Middlesbrough have been around since 1876! They have a storied history, they've won some big trophies in England over the years, and we are ecstatic that they will be coming here. We expect a huge turnout and a great atmosphere."

Tickets for the game are $5 at the gate. They're now on sale now at the ChattanoogaFC website.

Season pass wrist bands will not be eligible for this match but 2016 home/away jerseys grant free admission.
