With a warm and humid air mass in place over the region, scattered showers and storms are expected to pop up again Thursday afternoon with highs in the upper 80s. Storms should fade after dark with lows in the upper 60s and areas of fog.

Scattered storms could develop again Friday and Saturday with highs in the upper 80 to 90°, lows in the upper 60s to 70°.

There will be a much better chance for widespread showers and storms on Sunday as a cold front moves through the area. Some significant rainfall is possible.

Next week we dry out. Look for fair skies Monday-Wednesday with lows in the lower 60s, highs in the 80s.
