Good Monday. Your Memorial Day will be a sticky one. The Chattanooga Chase will be kicking off at 8 with the awards ceremony shortly after 10. Temps this morning will be climbing through the 70s with dew points in the 60s, meaning muggy and sticky weather all day. Highs this afternoon will climb to about 90. I won't rule out an isolated storm or two this afternoon/evening, but they will be few and far between. If you do get one, it will actually only add to the stickiness of the air.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be much the same with highs near 90, LOTS of humidity, and only a sparse storm or two.
Thursday we will have a better chance for showers and storms as a front works its way through. We will stay warm and humid with highs in the upper 80s, but afternoon showers and storms will be likely. Friday will be he same.
For the weekend, all indications are we will remain humid and hot, but the chance for rain is uncertain. I will give us a 50/50 chance for showers and storms both Saturday and Sunday.
