Temperatures continue the upward climb. Little to rain through the weekend.

Posted: Updated:

Good Wednesday.  Our temperatures continue to climb up, up, and away.  Sunday we had a high of 80.  Monday we topped out at 85.  Yesterday we squeaked out an 87 degree high.  Today we will get to 89.  We will start to see the humidity creeping up a little, but it won't be too muggy or oppressive during the afternoon.  Skies will be partly cloudy.

Thursday and Friday will both also be warm with modest levels of humidity.  Highs both days will reach the upper 90s, and there is a slight chance for a passing shower or two each afternoon.

This weekend, the weather will be warm but nice Saturday with a high of 89.  Skies will be mostly sunny with lower humidity levels to make it fairly comfortable, especially during the morning and evening hours.  Sunday Will also climb to 89.  We will see increasing clouds and a few showers may slide in from the east.

Low pressure developing over the Carolinas this weekend could push rain showers into the Tennessee Valley Memorial Day afternoon into Tuesday.  Highs will remain in the upper 80s next week.

Good Thursday.  We have another bitterly cold start today with temps in the low to mid 10s this morning.  Fortunately, our winds are fairly calm this morning so wind chill won't be as much of an issue heading out.

The roads will be very slick including interstates and main city roads Tuesday night because of these cold temperatures. So travel should be discouraged.
