BRADLEY COUNTY, TN (WRCB) -

Three people are behind bars after robbing and kidnapping a person trying to buy medication.

The Bradley County Sheriff's Office says they were contacted by a victim stating he initially met with one of the suspects to give them money to purchase medication, but instead he was assaulted and placed into a vehicle at gunpoint. The victim told deputies a debit card was taken out of his wallet and used to withdraw $200 at an ATM.

During an investigation detectives charged Cody W. Hannah, 23, Lacey D. Nicholson, 26, and Anthony G.G. Phelps, 42, with felony counts of Aggravated Kidnapping and Robbery. Hannah was additionally charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.
