CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) – The team Chase Cantrell and Nathan Powell from Whitwell High School caught a 5 bass limit weighing 17.76 pounds, topping a field of 25 teams to win the TN High School Bass Trail Championship this weekend on Nickajack Lake.

Finishing in second was the team of Brandsford Dean and Dustin Osborne from Rhea County High. The duo also won the overall Big Fish award with a 6.52 pound Largemouth Bass. 

High Schools competing in this tournament were Bradley Central, Central High, Grundy, Rhea, Roane Co, Sale Creek, Soddy Daisy, Tellico Plains, Warren, Whitwell,  and York Inst.
