Good Thursday. We should have great weather today wit partly cloudy skies and a pleasant high of 79. There is a chance for a few stray showers, however, in the Blue Ridge Mtns. this afternoon. Tonight will be nice, but clouds will be on the increase. Overnight we will see the temp dropping to about 60 by Friday morning.
Friday will see mostly cloudy skies, and low pressure lifting from the southwest will bring widespread showers and thunderstorms Friday afternoon into Friday night. One or two rumbles of thunder may be heard, but this will be primarily a rain event with the rain heavy at times. The high Friday will reach only 72.
The weekend is shaping up to be a great one. JFest music festival will be at Camp Jordan on Saturday, and it looks like the weather will cooperate. We may get one or two remnant stray showers early Saturday morning, but most of the day will be partly cloudy with highs in the upper 70s.
Sunday we have the Chattanooga Ironman 70.3 throughout the day. The weather will be perfect for that or anything else you do Sunday. Skies will be sunny, and we will get to 81 in the afternoon.
Next week we warm back into the mid-80s with rain moving in by mid week.
