Strong scores, no failing grades this week

Posted: Updated:
HAMILTON COUNTY, TN (WRCB) -
Good news for restaurants in Hamilton County this week. All inspections went fairly well and there were several high scores.
A failing grade is any score less than a 70 and no restaurants made it close this week. The lowest score is an 81 found at Portobello's on Highway 58 in Chattanooga.
Inspectors found chilled foods at the wrong temperatures, issues with food labeling and date marking, utensil storage and supplies at the handwashing sink.
Several restaurants scored a perfect score of 100. Congratulations to Ceniza on Bradmore Lane in Ooltewah, BBQ Andy's on Karen Drive in Soddy Daisy, Piece-a-Cake on Apison Pike in Collegedale, Papa John's on Apison Pike in Collegedale, Subway on Highway 153 in Hixson and Lupis Pizza on Bradmore Lane in Ooltewah.
If you have a complaint about a pool, restaurant, health care facility, daycare or gym, call the Hamilton County Health Department Hot Line at (423) 209-8110. Someone will personally handle your complaint weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
North Georgia restaurants also didn't post any failing grades this week, but a few schools earned perfect scores. Congratulations to Davis Elementary in Trenton, Cedar Ridge Elementary in Dalton and Whitfield Early Head Start in Dalton.
