Lamb and Porter Win the Moses Watersports C.B.A. May Bass Tournament

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - The team of Haden Lamb and Trevor Porter caught a 5 bass limit weighing a whopping 32.84 pounds edging out a field of 160 anglers to win first place and $2,000.00 in the Moses Watersports C.B.A May Bass Tournament. This tournament was held Saturday, May 15th out of Chester Frost Boat Ramp. 

Haden said “We had about 15 pounds at 1:00 p.m. and continued looking for fish. We saw a lot of suspended fish in one spot and took a while to figure out how to catch them but when we did it was every cast and they were big. This is our first C.B.A. win and it will make some special memories forever”. 

Bradley Collum had big bass of this event weighing 9.88 pounds and A.J. Barnes had 2nd big bass weighing in at 8.90 pounds.

A.J. Barnes also won the highest finishing youth team prize of $25 dollars.

Shane Frazier said “Special thanks to Moses Watersports for their sponsorship of this event”.

All fish caught in this event were released back into Lake Chickamauga.

2. Seth Davis and Brent Butler, 32.55 lbs., $950.00 
3. Rogne Brown and Carey Dotson, 31.37 lbs., $800.00 
4. Don Lamb and Eddie Wilson, 28.57 lbs., $750.00 
5. Chuck James and Brad James, 27.70 lbs., $650.00 
6. Jim Cofer and Matt Wendorf, 27.53 lbs., $550.00 
7. Chris Peters and Ryan Willis, 26.41 lbs., $450.00 
8. Thomas Henshaw and Justin Durham, 26.40 lbs., $400.00 
9. Bradley Collum and Verta Collum, 26.27 lbs., $350.00 
10. Lance Nunley and John Lindley, 26.25 lbs., $350.00 
11. Barron Adams and Treavor Prince, 24.25 lbs., $300.00 

The next C.B.A. day tournament will be sponsored by The Hunter Oil Company, Inc. and will be held June 11, 2016 out of Chester Frost Park.
