NW Georgia native son Kane Brown to make Riverbend debut

Musician Kane Brown will make his Riverbend Festival debut Sunday, June 12 at 8:15 PM on the Bud Light Stage.   

Originally from northwest Georgia, Brown is a native who became an overnight internet sensation when he started covering country music songs on social media platforms in 2014.  

Earlier this year Brown signed with RCA Nashville.  He released first album titled Closer in June 2015 and released a new single "Used to Love You Sober" last October.   Brown's latest album, Chapter 1 was released in March. 

He’ll join Florida Georgia Line for their summer Dig Your Roots tour.

Get ready for The Purple Xperience to take the Bud Light Stage at 8:15 PM Thursday, June 16.   The Prince tribute band is unmistakably the most authentic act of its kind, The Purple Xperience is led by Doctor Fink, former member of Prince and The Revolution.

Additional acts released include Voices of Lee at 5:30PM, Bud Light Stage on Tuesday, June 14,  Cody McCarver at 5PM, Chevy Stage on Tuesday, June 14 and The Purple Xperience to take the Bud Light Stage at 8:15 PM Thursday, June 16.   The Prince tribute band is unmistakably the most authentic act of its kind, The Purple Xperience is led by Doctor Fink, former member of Prince and The Revolution.

Previously announced acts are Thomas Rhett, Heart, REO Speedwagon, Brett Eldredge, Salt N Pepa, Blackberry Smoke, and Trampled By Turtles, Umphrey's McGee, ZZ Ward, For King and Country, Here Come The Mummies, Shovels & Rope, 38 Special, Chris Young, Granger Smith and Blood Sweat & Tears featuring Bo Bice.

Admission is available at Kangaroo Express/Circle K and  www.riverbendfestival.com.  Eight day admission wristbands are $41.  Reserved Star Seating and Club Riverbend are available as well. Discount tokens are available at Food City locations.  Get $10 in tokens for only $9.
