So far this Spring we have been nearly 5 inches below normal in rainfall. Every time a rain system approaches it has generally fizzled out across the area. We have another chance for showers and storms tonight. This one does not look like a drought buster, but there could be individual storms which drop some heavy amounts. But as of now it looks like around a half inch of rain with some spots a bit more.
Skies will be clearing on Friday and temperatures will be comfortable. The weekend looks quite pleasant with highs in the low 70's Saturday and near 70 on Sunday. Some isolated showers will be developing Monday and Tuesday. By mid-week the chance for scattered showers and storms will be increasing.
