Good Thursday. We are sitting right in the middle of a mass of warm, humid air. That is going to be good fuel for some scattered showers and thunderstorms as we progress through the day. We are starting our Thursday warm and a bit muggy with partly cloudy skies. A cold front to our west will slowly drift toward the Tennessee Valley. Ahead of that front, we will start to see isolated storms developing as we move through the late morning and into the afternoon. Tonight, the storms will become a little more widespread as the front nears and moves through. The storms will end overnight, and set the stage for amazing weather this weekend. There is a VERY slight chance for a few storms to approach severe levels. the biggest threat will be from damaging winds and small hail.
Friday will see mostly sunny skies with highs in the low 80s. The humidity should be much lower so it will be very comfortable as we end the week.
Saturday the cooler air really starts to filter in. We will start with a low of 53. Skies will be sunny, and the air dry as we climb to 78 in the afternoon. Sunday another weak front will move through and make it even cooler with the temperature ranging from 48 in the morning to 74 in the afternoon.
