UPDATE: Woman injured in Thursday morning shooting

UPDATE: Chattanooga Police responded to a person shot call around 4 a.m. Thursday morning. Further investigation revealed that a woman had been shot near Woodlawn Apartments in the 2300 block of Wilson St. 

Officials say 19-year-old Tamar Ford, was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, when she arrived at a local hospital by personal vehicle.

The victim was treated and released form the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials say they are following all leads.

The shooting occurred at approximately 4 a.m.

Family say the victim's condition is non-life-threatening. She was transported to the local hospital by a personal vehicle. 

Currently, police have no suspect description.
