A Chattanooga man is in jail for allegedly inappropriately touching two young girls at Chester Frost Park.
Park Rangers said they were flagged down at the park's beach area around 7 p.m. Sunday and notified of the incident.
According to an arrest affidavit, 51-year-old James Chris Eastman was in the water and "rubbing on some young females."
The two girls, one of whom was 17, told park rangers that Eastman was "touching and rubbing on them."
The girls told authorities they tried to get away but that the suspect kept following them and "wouldn't let go" even after trying to push him away.
One girl texted her sister for help, who arrived and summoned the rangers.
Eastman was charged with two counts of sexual battery and one count of solicitation of a minor.
He's in the Hamilton County Jail on a $25,000 bond and will be due in court Monday, May 16 in front of Judge Bales.
Couric will be co-host with Mike Tirico, who is replacing Bob Costas as prime-time host of the games.
It's snowing in portions of the Tennessee Valley which means the roads could be slick as you're driving to get your bread and milk.
The Chattanooga Department of Transportation will be closing several roads in downtown Chattanooga Saturday for two special events.
