Soddy Daisy Wins Academy Sports + Outdoors Center Hill High School Clash

SPARTA, TN (WRCB) – The team of Jake Beihoffer and Bailey Faires from Soddy Daisy High School caught a 5 bass limit weighing 15.52 pounds, topping a field of 65 teams to win the Academy Sports + Outdoors Center Hill High School Clash this weekend.

For the win Jake and Bailey received $500 each in scholarship money and also earned an automatic spot into the Bassmaster High School National Championship later this year.

Austin Goins and Briar Goins from Rhea County High won the overall Big Fish award with a 5.36 pound Largemouth. 

High Schools competing in this tournament were Baylor, Bradley Central, Central High, Lincoln County, Livingston Academy. McClain Christian, Midway, Ooltewah, Rhea County, Roane County, Sale Creek, Soddy Daisy, Summit High, Tellico Plains, Warren, White County, Whitwell, and York Institute.

The top 10 Teams are as follows:

1st - Jake Beihoffer-Bailey Faires - Soddy Daisy High - 15.52 lbs.

2nd - Samuel & Matthew –Vandagriff – Warren County - 14.52 lbs.

3rd - Kaleb Swafford-Rand Schneck - Bradley Central - 13.91 lbs.

4th - Hunter Conaster-Luke Patton - York Inst - 12.49 lbs.

5th - Drew Gunter-Chase Watson – Rhea County - 11.98 lbs.

6th - Gavin Ansley-Collin Gregory - Central High - 11.25 lbs.

7th - Tyler Millsap-Konner Swafford - Bradley Central - 11.13 lbs.

8th - Dakota Wilson-Elijah Garrett     Livingston Academy - 11.59 lbs.

9th - Austin Goins-Briar Goins – Rhea County - 9.94 lbs.

10th - Case Anderson-Grant Hodosi – Grundy County - 9.79 lbs.
