Titans Caravan comes to town

Posted: Updated:

The Tennessee Titans made a stop in the Scenic City Saturday as part of their annual Titans Caravan.

Titan fans lined up at Academy Sports and Outdoors in Hixson to meet some of their favorite players. Wide Receiver, Justin Hunter, Defensive Tackle, Jurrell Casey, and newest Titan Wide Receiver, Rishard Matthews greeted fans, signed autographs, and took pictures for just over an hour.

"They're already talking about the season so that gets me excited for it" said former Tennessee Vol, Justin Hunter. "They're excited and the kids are especially pumped, even more than the parents so it's always good to see that."

Chattanooga was the Titans' second stop of three for the day, and their 17th stop overall on the caravan schedule this year.

The Titans Caravan began in 1998 as a small effort to spread goodwill through the region. Since 1998, the Caravan has made over 800 stops and allowed the team to interact directly with an estimated audience well in excess of 250,000 fans.
