Multiple Vols sign as undrafted free agents

Posted: Updated:

While no former Tennessee players were taken in this year's draft, there were a couple Vols who were able to work out a deal after the seven rounds as undrafted free agents.

Wide receiver Marquez North and safety Brian Randolph signed with the Los Angeles Rams Saturday night.

Randolph announced on his twitter account his signing with the Rams within 15 minutes of the end of the draft.

North, who missed six games and caught just six passes last season, had impressive showings at both the NFL scouting combine and Tennessee's pro day in March.

Tennessee defensive end and linebacker Curt Maggitt signed with the Indianapolis Colts Saturday as an undrafted free agent, as well.

Maggitt was a second-team all-SEC pick in 2014, but he missed most of last season after chipping a bone in his hip.
