UPDATE: Argument leaves man shot near Greenway View Drive

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -

UPDATE: Chattanooga Police made an arrest in an argument that led to a shooting Sunday.  On Monday, suspect Paul Vandiver was located and arrested. 

He is charged with: Attempted 1st-degree murder, Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.


PREVIOUS STORY: Chattanooga Police said an argument in the homeless camp located near the 400 block of Greenview Way Dr, lead to Daniel Mooney, 31, being shot. 

The Chattanooga Police Violent Crimes Bureau identified Paul Vandiver, 65, as the suspect and issues have been obtained for his arrest. CPD says Vandiver faces charges of Attempted 1st Degree Murder, Aggravated Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Possession of a Firearm in the commission of a Dangerous Felony, Felon in Possession of a Firearm. 

The victim, Daniel Mooney was taken to the hospital, the injury is believed to be non-life threatening.
