Cleveland 911 dispatchers received a call, which is part of their normal duties.

But this call was different; an 82-year-old woman with Parkinson's disease called to share a story about a Cleveland police officer.

The woman went to the doctor's office and then out for a bite to eat afterwards at The Chef, a Cleveland restaurant.

After she finished eating, she was struggling to get up, and Cleveland Police Department Officer Mike McCoy noticed her plight.

McCoy stopped eating his lunch, and walked over to help her.

He then walked the woman to her car and offered to move the car closer so she could get in the car more easily. McOy then helped the woman get into her car.

The Cleveland Police Department posted on their Facebook page that the woman couldn't remember the officers name to properly thank him, but described the officer as "tall, with dark hair, and told her he’d been here about a year."

McCoy told the woman "he couldn’t just sit there and eat his lunch and watch her fall."

The woman told her family and friends, as well as her nurse about McCoy's gesture of kindness.
