UPDATE: Missing 8-year-old Chance Rogers safely found

UPDATE: A middle Tennessee Endangered Child Alert has been canceled after an 8-year-old from Dickson County was found safe Thursday afternoon.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Chance Rogers was safely recovered.


PREVIOUS STORY: The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is looking for 8-year-old Chance Rogers.

A Middle Tennessee Endangered Child Alert has been issued for the Dickson County Sheriff's Office for 8-year-old Chance Rogers.

Rogers is a white male, 4 feet tall, weighing 50 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.

Officials say Rogers wears blue glasses.

Rogers was last seen with his non-custodial mother Dawn Starla Rogers on April 27, 2016 around 11:00 p.m. on I-40 near McCrory Lane in Cheatham County.

Officials say Dawn Rogers was last seen driving an older model black Honda Civic with a broken tail light with red tape over it.
