Good Monday. We may get an early jump on summer this week with highs approaching 90 by Friday!
Today, we will start the week on a warm note. Highs will reach the low 80s. The average high for this time of year is 75. I expect a nice mix of sun and clouds through the day, but little to no chance for any significant rain. a passing sprinkle MAYBE east of Chattanooga heading into the Blue Ridge, but even for that the chance is low.
Tuesday will sport more cloud cover and a high of 85. A warm front to our north will bring scattered showers to middle Tennessee Tuesday, and one or two of those may drift our way. I will put the rain chance Tuesday at 20%. The high will rise to 85 in the afternoon.
Wednesday looks warm and humid with partly cloudy skies and a high of 85.
Thursday a cold front will drift through bringing showers and thunderstorms Thursday morning into the afternoon. Some storms could be strong so we will be watching carefully.
Friday and Saturday will just be hot and humid. Highs will be in the upper 80s. Look for more storms Sunday.
