The 11th run of the game came later in the inning on a Vielma RBI single.

The runs continued to come across the plate in the top of the fifth as Birmingham scored three runs to cut the Lookouts lead down to two. After the game's first scoreless inning in the sixth, Birmingham tied the game up with a bases clearing double by Eudy Alvarez in the seventh. They then took the lead in the eighth for good on a Trey Michalczewski solo home run.
