Hundreds turned out to Bradley Central's Jim Smiddy arena Friday night to catch a glimpse of some famous faces and watch as they hit the hardwood in Brittany Jackson's Celebrity Basketball game.

This is the 5th year that the former Tennessee basketball star and WNBA player has held her celebrity game, and each year the list of stars and famous athletes not only continues to grow, but also takes another step forward in helping find a cure for Alzheimer's.

The celebrity game is just one part of a full weekend of events that helps raise money to fight the disease, and in turn, gives Jackson a chance to give back to her former Lady Vols' coach, Pat Summitt.

R&B artist Cupid, best known for his Cupid Shuffle, Carolina Panthers safety Roman Harper, Harlem Globetrotters' "Showtime," Olympic athlete Kim Glass, former Vol Bobby Maze, former NBA player Devean George, overseas pro basketball player Courtney Willis, former Titan Keith Bulluck, CFL linebacker Ky Hebert, former NFL tackle Albert Haynesworth, former WNBA player Chamique Holdsclaw, and two-time NBA All-Star Baron Davis also took the floor Friday night.

"Some of these celebrities and athletes have come all over the country" says Brittany. "A lot of them come year in and year out, so it means so much to me and for them to continue to come. It just gets bigger and better every year."

"It's so much fun hanging out with everyone that year after year show up" says Super Bowl 50 safety Roman Harper. "We become family with guys here and we get to know each other and so it means more than just a basketball game."

Jackson and friends will end the fun-filled weekend Saturday night getting all dressed up for an "Evening with the Stars" red carpet event. For more information on Brittany or this weekends events, you can visit her website here
