UPDATE: Two charged in Highway 58 shooting
Chattanooga police have charged two people from a shooting on Highway 58 Thursday afternoon.
UPDATE: Chattanooga Police responded to a shots fired call in the 4400 block of Hwy 58 on Thursday.
Upon arrival, police located one victim suffering from a minor injury.
Officials say reports initially indicated shots fired at Food City, and also at the nearby Las Margaritas restaurant.
Further investigation indicated that the shooting took place at the 5000 block of Oakhill Rd. One victim was uninjured in the shooting, and the other only had minor injuries.
Officials say the suspects left the area in a white Chevy Impala, and were later spotted at a residence on Swan Rd.
Chattanooga police, along with K9 officers and Violent Crimes Bureau Investigators, detained two suspects at this residence, and transported the individuals to the Police Service Center for questioning.
Officials say probable cause was enough to lead to arrest warrants of both suspects, and they were arrested and taken to the Hamilton County Jail.
Rashad C. Davis and Christopher Green were both charged with aggravated assault, attempted 1st degree murder, felony reckless endangerment, and possession of firearm during commission of felony.

The call went out at 2:51 p.m. as reports of a person shot at 4510 Highway 58.
Channel 3 confirmed, one person was hit by a bullet near Food City and Captain D's.
Suspects Rashad C. Davis and Christopher Green are both charged with aggravated assault, attempted 1st degree murder, felony reckless endangerment, and possession of firearm during commission of felony.
A spokesperson says it’s unknown at this time if this shooting is connected to this week’s string of shootings between two gangs.
