Good Monday. The great weekend weather will continue into the first part of this week. Today will be sunny with highs in the low 80s, about 10 degrees above average. Tonight will be another clear, starry night. The moon will be bright in the sky, but if you squint, you might catch a glimpse of one of the Lyrid meteors racing across the sky. Unfortunately, they will peak later this week when the moon is full and skies will be cloudy so tonight and tomorrow night may be your best bet for seeing some.
Tuesday will be mostly sunny. We will start with a low of 52, and climb to a whopping 84 in the afternoon.
Wednesday will get to 80, but skies will be cloudy as our protective ridge of high pressure deteriorates. We MAY get a passing shower Wednesday, but they will be few and far between.
Thursday we will have overcast skies all day with scattered showers likely through the day. Rainfall amounts will be around 1/2". We will clear out Friday which sets the stage for another picture perfect weekend. Skies will be sunny, and highs will be in the low 80s.
