Cool weather Thursday, turning windy

Posted: Updated:

Cooling trend lies ahead with weekend frost possible.

A good deal of cloud cover sticks around for much of our Thursday. A few scattered showers are possible, especially late in the afternoon with highs in the mid-60s. The chance for showers continues into Thursday evening with lows in the mid-40s.

Skies stay rather cloudy most of Friday with a slight chance of rain and highs only around 60°. Skies clear a bit Friday night with chilly lows in the mid-30s. Areas of frost could develop, especially outside the city.

This weekend dry! Saturday highs only reach the mid-50s despite mostly sunny skies. Frost is expected again late Saturday night, even in the city, as lows drop to near freezing. Sunday looks warmer with some clouds and highs in the mid-60s.

Monday gets even warmer with highs in the lower 70s under increasing cloudiness. Showers and storms develop Monday night and Tuesday with highs in the lower 70s. Wednesday dries out with highs in the upper 60s.
